For decades CGS has been designing and producing crystal growing equipment for the production of silicon crystals, and as a technologically leading producer CGS is one of the most important in its field worldwide.

Vacuum systems

The core competency of PVA TePla is to build systems for vacuum and pressure sintering of hard metals. The COD plants designed for this purpose are also supremely suitable for sintering ceramics, a material that is being used in increasing measure in car and engine production due to its low specific weight. Tools with outstanding material properties such as abrasion resistance and therefore tool life are manufactured in the thermal sintering processes under vacuum conditions and the subsequent hot isostatic processes under gas pressures of up to 100 bar. The high temperature regularity of the PVA TePla systems ensures that the products are all of a high quality.

Plasma Systems

Plasma Systems designs, develops and builds customer specific plasma equipment. The division specializes in technologies used for the surface modification of substrates through the controlled application of plasma. Thereby we are able to provide to our customers specific solutions in the following two application areas: Semiconductor Market and Industrial/ Medical Market.
